Fold Mistral – Signature explores movement gathered inward. Layers fold and bend around a quiet center, creating a gesture suspended between softness and tension.
The movement gradually turns inward as the folds overlap and gather around the opening. Their shifting depths create a quiet rhythm across the form, revealing different relationships between the inner and outer layers from every angle.
Handbuilt in stoneware, the sculpture is finished with a pale Mistral glaze in soft ivory, aqua and warm undertones. The glazed folds contrast with the textured raw and satin base, allowing light to reveal the depth and movement of the layered form.
