Rise Désir I – Terre de Feu is a defining work from the Rise Collection and a key expression of Movement in Stillness. The form rises and opens upward, as though releasing its energy through the edges while remaining suspended at the height of its movement.
Handbuilt in Terre de Feu stoneware, its warm earthen body contrasts with dark brushed edges that emphasize the direction and rhythm of the form. From every angle, the sculpture reveals a different gesture, reaching, lifting and seemingly defying the weight of the clay.
The work embodies the language at the heart of the Rise Collection: an emotional impulse transformed into upward movement, held at its most intense moment before change.
