Carved lines travel upward through the form like roots reversing their direction, guiding the eye toward an opening that expands and unfolds. In Forêt, layered greens deepen toward the interior, evoking the density of a forest and the shifting light found beneath its canopy.
The glossy surface intensifies the depth of the glaze while allowing the movement of the hand-built form and its carved lines to remain visible.
