Rise Racine I – Terre de Feu

Request Price

Rise Racine I – Terre de Feu inspired by the strength and direction of roots, the form rises from the base through a series of flowing lines that guide the eye upward before opening into an organic silhouette.

Handbuilt in stoneware, the sculpture balances a grounded presence with a sense of growth and movement. The rich tones of Terre de Feu clay are contrasted by darkened edges, while expressive brush-like markings along the rim create a hand-painted effect that follows and emphasizes the movement of the form.

Although firmly rooted, the piece carries an upward energy, expressing resilience, transformation, and the continuous tension between stability and change. Its evolving profile reveals a different composition from every angle, inviting the viewer to discover new relationships between line, volume, and space.
