Rise Racine I – Terre d'Ivoire, inspired by the strength and direction of roots, the form rises from the base in a continuous upward movement before opening into an organic, sculptural silhouette.

Handbuilt in highly grogged stoneware, the piece celebrates the raw character of the clay through its textured surface and carved flowing lines. The soft ivory tones and satin finish along the edges enhance the depth of the form, creating subtle variations of light and shadow throughout the piece.
Although firmly grounded, the sculpture carries a sense of upward energy and growth. Its changing profile reveals a different composition from every angle, inviting the viewer to discover new details as they move around it.
