Wave Érosion explores movement through the slow transformation of a surface over time. Its form appears shaped by erosion, as though wind, water and time had gradually softened its contours and left their traces within the clay.
The porous, irregular surface recalls weathered stone and mineral landscapes, while hollows and changing depths interrupt the form like marks accumulated over time. Here, movement is not captured as a single gesture, but revealed through the traces it leaves behind.
Handbuilt in stoneware, the exterior is finished in warm sand and mineral tones with a raw, tactile character. The textured matte surface contrasts with the smoother glazed interior, reinforcing the relationship between a weathered exterior and a more protected inner space.
