The irregular edges and textured surface reveal a quieter kind of movement, one marked by time rather than immediate motion. Layers appear to emerge from and recede into the form, creating shifting depths around the central opening.
Handbuilt in stoneware, the exterior is finished in warm mineral and sand tones with a raw, tactile character. The matte surface contrasts with the smoother glazed interior, emphasizing the relationship between weathered exterior and protected inner form.
