Wave – Ciel de Minuit Signature explores movement through a form that unfolds in soft, undulating layers. Curves rise and shift around the central opening, creating a fluid gesture held in a moment of stillness.
The overlapping forms move between openness and enclosure, revealing changing depths and silhouettes from different viewpoints. Despite the solidity of the clay, the thin, flowing edges give the sculpture a sense of softness and lightness.
Handbuilt in stoneware, the surface moves through deep midnight blue and indigo tones with subtle pearlescent highlights. Light catches the folds and edges differently from every angle, recalling the shifting reflections of moonlight across dark water.
