Wave Fracture I – Terre de Feu, explores the moment when movement meets resistance. A sweeping wave rises and unfolds before being interrupted by a deliberate opening that cuts through the form, creating a tension between flow and rupture.
Part of the Wave Collection, this handbuilt stoneware sculpture captures movement at its peak while revealing the forces that shape and transform it. The rich tones of Terre de Feu clay transition into deep charcoal edges, evoking the meeting of earth, fire, and time.
The opening allows light to pass through the piece, creating shifting shadows and revealing new perspectives from every angle. Like all works in the collection, it captures movement in a moment of stillness.
