Wave – Mistral Royale explores movement through broad, undulating layers that unfold outward from the center. Soft curves rise, overlap and shift in direction, creating a fluid gesture held in a moment of stillness.
The wide silhouette gives the form a sense of expansion, while its changing contours reveal new relationships between the folds and central space from every angle. Despite the weight of the clay, the flowing edges create an impression of softness and lightness.
Handbuilt in stoneware, the luminous white surface is layered with soft Mistral tones of misty aqua and subtle warm highlights. The delicate variations respond to light across the folds, emphasizing their depth and reinforcing the quiet fluidity of the form.
